Somersault

Brianna was practing her somersault last week.  In the video, she keeps saying "Oops, I didn't" :-)  She is persistent though - keeps trying until she gets it!

Tiny Tunes

Brianna had her last dance class of the summer tonight.  She loved going every week, so I decided to sign her up for the year-long class.  Daddy can't wait to go to her recital next June! :-)  Brianna really seemed to come out of her shell this last class and went to stand over by the teachers instead of by me.  Maybe it was her new ballet slippers that did the trick...

Piano

Brianna stayed home today with a fever, but that did not deter her from enjoying her regular piano performances, of which she likes me to "take a picture."  Uploading these especially for my friend's daughters - Kari, Karly and Kori - to enjoy :-)

Coney Island

We had a fun time at Coney Island with Lori and Ethan last week!  Luckily the rain stayed away so Brianna and Ethan were able to enjoy the pool and the rides!

Summertime fun

We have had a busy, but very fun summer so far.  Hard to believe there is only a little over a month left before Austin starts back to school!  We have been to Jamaica, Coney Island several times, played in the sprinkler, and had a fun 4th of July!  Brianna also had a big weekend last weekend - moving to her "big girl bed", and also is well on her way to being potty trained!

2 years old!

Brianna had a wonderful 2nd birthday. We celebrated on her actual birthday with a cake, cards from family members, and a gift - her Happy Tunes Coupe :-) She got frustrated when trying to blow out the candle on her cake, so started crying while we were singing happy birthday to her. I have to admit, it was quite funny...unfortunately, I got it on my video camera instead of my digital camera, so am not sure how to get that onto my computer.

Last weekend we had a family birthday party for Brianna. She had a blast! We had beautiful weather and were able to be outside for much of the party. She loves all of her new toys and clothes...she was up playing with the toys that night until 10:30! Can't believe my baby is already 2 years old! Where does the time go?!
